Picasso Credenza

Picasso

Picasso is a credenza designed for modern interiors. The piece combines solid Tzalam wood with tempered glass panels that are painted by hand from behind in different color tones. The wood is cut with computer controlled machinery and finished by hand. Mortise and tenon joints hold the structure, and the legs have angular shapes. The doors have soft closing hinges. Six layers of polyurethane protect the surface and highlight the wood. The credenza can be placed along a wall in a room or a hallway, or used as a divider between areas.

Picasso Credenza by Gerardo Ríos Altamirano has been highlighted as an innovative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Picasso Credenza earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2017. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that recognizes exceptional design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
