Bulbo
Bulbo is a lounge chair with a sculptural form based on botanical shapes. The structure and legs are made of solid tauari wood, selected for strength and uniform grain. The chair stands on only three legs, and the asymmetrical arrangement keeps the seat stable. The armrests are made of thin wood veneers, glued and bent under high pressure. The seat and backrest are upholstered with high density foam and covered in boucle fabric. The curved backrest supports the body, while the armrests give lateral support.
Bulbo Chair by Eduardo Trevisan has been selected as a creative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Bulbo Chair earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2026. The A' Furniture Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition that rewards outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
