Rural Student Friendly

Rural Student Friendly is a multifunctional lamp designed for students in rural areas of China, where night lighting is often limited. The lamp combines three functions: a desk light for study, a flashlight for outdoor use at night, and an ambient light. The lamp body is pulled up and rotated to set the angle, and it locks in place when released. A short press of the button changes the light color, and a long press adjusts the brightness. The housing is made of recycled aluminum alloy, cast and then sandblasted for durability. The lamp stands 25 cm high.

Rural Student Friendly Multifunctional Lamp by Bihui Peng has been recognized as an outstanding illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Rural Student Friendly Multifunctional Lamp earned the Iron A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2025. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition which recognizes exceptional design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
