Halo Smart Helmet

Halo

Halo is a full-face helmet designed for electric scooter riders. The helmet shell is ISI and DOT rated and weighs about 1460 grams. Built-in speakers support music, call control and helmet-to-helmet communication between rider and passenger. The speakers are positioned and tuned so that road sounds remain audible. All electronics are placed outside the shell, away from the head, in an IP65 rated impact-grade housing. Automatic wear detection switches the helmet on when it is worn. A magnetic wireless charger latches to the rear housing.

Halo Smart Helmet by Ather Energy was recognized as a creative illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Halo Smart Helmet earned the Silver A' Design Award in Safety Clothing and Personal Protective Equipment Design in 2025. The A' Safety Clothing and Personal Protective Equipment Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award that recognizes outstanding design of helmets, gloves, goggles, respirators, earplugs, safety boots, High-Visibility clothing, face shields and more.
