Phantom
Phantom is a modular chair system made of transparent high-strength glass. Single chairs, multi-person seating, side tables and tables can be assembled from a small set of components. The gradient colours of the glass give each piece a bright and dreamlike appearance. The design combines minimal forms with a sculptural character. The high-strength glass meets load-bearing standards, so decorative objects and daily items can be placed on the tables and seats. Phantom suits both interior and exterior spaces and serves as furniture and as decoration.
Phantom Chair by Jun Wang has been recognized as an exceptional representation of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Phantom Chair was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2023. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition which recognizes outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
