Space
Space is a table lamp inspired by the surfaces of planets. The lamp consists of a table lamp base, a spherical shade and an OLED lamp body. The shade is made with glass blowing technology, so each piece has a unique surface texture created by the varying density of the material. Light is emitted in two ways. A bright beam passes through an opening in the sphere and lights the area below, while the irregular translucent texture spreads a soft glow. Space also serves as a decorative object when not in use.
Space Lamp by Jun Wang has been featured as an innovative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Space Lamp won the Iron A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2023. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition that celebrates outstanding design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
