Yakamoz
Yakamoz is a collection of kilim rugs that takes its inspiration from the poetry of light reflections on the sea surface. The abstract patterns represent the alluring sight of the reflected moonlight over the Aegean Sea and are handwoven to these kilim rugs by Anatolian weavers. The kilim rugs in the collection merge the spirit and sensibilities of centuries old craft traditions of Anatolian kilim weaving with a contemporary, artisanal and sensual design approach, with the aim to bring the atmosphere of Aegean coastal nature to the everyday life of interiors.
Yakamoz Rug Collection by Fulden Topaloglu was featured as an innovative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Yakamoz Rug Collection won the Iron A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2021. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that rewards outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
