Double Face Lamp

Double Face

Double Face is a lamp designed for use during power outages. The lamp works as a normal light when electricity is available, and the same supply charges a flashlight held inside the body. When the power fails, the upper part is rotated so the charged light continues to illuminate the room. The upper light can also be removed and carried as a flashlight. The shell is made of aluminium alloy for light weight, strength and corrosion resistance, and the base is made of plastic. Double Face measures 18 by 18 by 48 centimetres.

Double Face Lamp by Bruce Tao has been recognized as a grand representation of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Double Face Lamp was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2020. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade which honors superior design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
