Cocoda

Cocoda is a chair made of solid wood. The chair is characterized by intricate three-dimensional curved arms, which are carved from solid wood. This shape cannot be produced by bending wood. Each piece is hand-carved by craftsmen using Japanese planes and knives. The carved seat feels soft although the wood is hard, allowing long periods of sitting. The design keeps only the necessary functions, following the idea that simplicity brings comfort and beauty. The chair measures 700 mm in width, 520 mm in depth and 725 mm in height, with a seat height of 420 mm.

Water Ripples

No matter indoors or outdoors, especially where there is light, its water ripples will show natural light and shadow through the ground. It's like a ripple sculpture with artistic conception when it is at rest; however, it becomes a fascinating piece of furniture when an interaction occurs.

The chair's flip theme embodies the graceful movement of grass in the wind, creating a dynamic and organic form. To achieve this effect, the fluidity and folds of the chair's seat are simulated and the wood was bent into shape using steam. The resulting product was then meticulously handcrafted to provide users with an authentic and immersive natural experience.
